A workshop entitled “Future Internet Opportunities for Innovative European Businesses” is being held on 9th March 2015, 10:30h – 15:30h in London, UK @Digital Catapult.

The purpose of the workshop is presenting available resources and funding opportunities for Small and Medium Enterprises within the Future Internet Research and Experimentation (FIRE) EC programme.

The main objective of this workshop is to give the opportunity to innovative Small and Medium ICT Businesses to discover and understand how the Future Internet Research and Experimentation – FIRE – EC Programme can help boosting their innovation efforts and reduce time to market.

In this perspective, the first part of the workshop will provide an introduction to the overall FIRE initiative, present available experimental infrastructures as testing environments for innovative products and solutions, and give the floor to selected SMEs’ success stories. The lunch break will allow people for more informal discussions and networking. The second part of the day will be dedicated to present upcoming activities and funding opportunities that the newly started H2020 FIRE projects will make available in the next months as concrete chance for SMEs to join the FIRE framework and benefit of financial support. The final interactive Q&A session will be dedicated to discuss in more details any specific concern or question from the audience with any of the invited speakers.
