NEM Tech Platform General Assembly 15th Mar, 2016 Crowne Plaza, Brussels The NEM Initiative was established as one of the European Technology Platforms under the Seventh Framework Programme, and is now one of the official Technology Platforms of Horizon 2020, aiming at fostering the convergence between consumer electronics, broadcasting and telecoms in order to develop the emerging business sector of networked and electronic media. FIRE Forum 2015 9 Dec. 2015 Brussels, Belgium The objective of this FIRE Forum 2015 is to bring together representatives of FIRE projects, the European Commission and other stakeholders and initiatives to discuss the further development of experimental facilities, research and innovation, and how a federated European experimental infrastructure will drive innovation.
IEEE GLOBECOM 6-10 December 2015 San Diego, CA, USA IEEE GLOBECOM is one of two flagship conferences of the IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc), together with IEEE ICC. Each year the conference attracts about 3000 submitted scientific papers and dozens of proposals for industry events. The FIRE CREW project “Hands-on experimentation with cognitive radio enabled systems” tutorial will be held on Thursday, December 10 2015
ECFI 3 4-7 November 2015 Hamburg, Germany European Conference on Future Internet. The international conference is embedded in an unprecedented event programme spanning 3 ½ days. Wireless Community 19th work meeting: “Experimental Facilities for Robust Wireless Solutions” 29 October 2015 Leuven, Belgium This workshop is closing public event of the CREW project, co-organised with the Fed4FIRE project, which will show what cognitive radio is, and showcase experiments on existing open test-beds. Additionally, it will define and illustrate shared spectrum access and dynamic spectrum access.
ICT 2015 Conference  20-22 October 2015 Lisbon, Portugal The biggest ICT event in the EU calendar for networking sessions, interesting debates, providing the latest news on the new European Commission’s policies and initiatives with regard to R&I in ICT, and providing information about funding opportunities and much more! While registration for attendance will open in May, 2015, the call for networking sessions is open until 11th May at 17:00.
Nem Summit 2015 15-16 October 2015 Frankfurt am Main, Germany The programme includes a NEM communities day, a NEM vision day, an Investment & Entrepreneurship Forum, and an exhibition. Also, the NEM General Assembly will have its 20st meeting during this event.
Annual privacy forum 2015 7-8 October 2015 Luxembourg The European Commission Directorate General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology (DG CONNECT), the European Union Agency for Network and Information Security (ENISA) and, as local host, the University of Luxembourg organize a two-day event with the objective of providing a forum to academia, industry and policy makers. This year, the main focus of the Annual Privacy Forum will be on the privacy of electronic communications.APF will take place on the 7th and 8th of October 2015 in Luxembourg, during the Luxembourgian Presidency of the Council of the EU.

EU28 Cloud Security Conference: Reaching the Cloud Era in the European Union 16 June, 2015 Riga, Latvia at Swedbank building (Balasta dambis 1A, Riga,) ENISA is co-organising together with the Latvian Ministry of Defence a one day conference focused on Cloud Security. The Cloud Security Conference aims to be an educational and networking event on cloud computing security and privacy, under the umbrella of the Latvian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

The 9th European Conference on Antennas and Propagation 12-17 April 2015 Lisbon, Portugal

Information Day & Brokerage event on Horizon 2020 – Smart Cities and Communities 2015 Work Programme 12 February 2015 European Commission, Building Charlemagne, Rue De La Loi 170, Brussels 1040 The information day will take place in the morning and will:
+ Inform participants about the call objectives, requirements and specificities
+ Provide relevant insights and lessons learnt from the 2014 SCC-01 call.In the afternoon, a brokerage event will provide a chance for people to discuss, exchange ideas, network and meet potential partners to create new or strengthen existing consortia. Participation in the event is free of charge but registration is compulsory and applications will be dealt with on a “first come, first served” basis.
