The objective of the 3rd Phase of FI-PPP is to use the technologies and platforms developed in Phase 1 and 2 and focus on the sustainability of technologies developed in the FI-PPP and the support available to Phase 3 actors.

• FI-WARE –delivers technology i.e. an advanced OpenStack-based Cloud + rich library of Generic Enablers
• FI-LAB – going beyond technology, is the “meeting point” and an open innovation ecosystem. Where developers can host their apps and also store their data (free for experimental purposes)
• FI-OPS – a suite of tools that ease deployment, setup and operation of FI-WARE instances by platform and infrastructures providers.

It is expected Phase 3 will create market visibility and impact, with the high ambition of placing EU industry at the center of the Digital economy, offering exciting opportunities for innovative organizations, and especially SMEs, to get involved in the programme activities. In phase 3 of the FI-PPP programme, starting in the second half of 2014, 16 Accelerators projects will be launched from all over Europe and will distribute € 80M for innovative products and services.
