SUMMARY
The goal of the ACE 3 (Advancing the Customer Experience) project is to make Quality of Experience (QoE) measurable by integrating technical network parameters with user-centric quality indicators. Every technical service improvement should also ultimately result in an improvement of customer quality perception and satisfaction. However, since customers are the ultimate judges of service quality, it is vital for the industry to move beyond traditional Quality of Service (QoS) paradigms and adopt a more holistic understanding of quality that truly reflects the end-user perspective.

- Making Quality of Experience (QoE) measurable by integrating technical network parameters with user-centric quality indicators.
- Developing an integrated approach towards customer experience assessment through improved understanding of the relationship between QoS, QoE, and customer satisfaction.
- Validating quality requirements for broadband services, focusing on the following aspects of broadband QoE: high-speed/LTE scenarios, the impact of user terminals (smart devices), convergence, QoE for Web and Cloud services, VoiP and video (adaptive streaming, IPTV) quality.
