In recent months, the 5G PPP in Horizon 2020 has organized, in cooperation with the NetSoc project, a series of information building, awareness creation and participation stimulation events initiated by the 5G Infrastructure Association and the European Commission.

A 5G Infrastructure PPP Information Day has taken place on 28th April, 2014 in Paris and attracted 160 participants interested in exploring the potential of the 5G-PPP. Also, the presentations from the Information Day held on 28th May, 2014 in Brussels, are now online at http://5g-ppp.eu/5g-ppp-awareness-meetinginformation-day-on-may-28-2014-in-brussels/, including e.g. a presentation on the added value of using existing experimental test beds and infrastructures from FIRE and the FI-PPP.

Selected 5G-PPP projects are expected to start early in 2015.
