SUMMARY
The QoCON project aims to provide solutions to Quality of Service challenges facing wireless data networks. The project seeks to tackle the overload of the wireless spectrum and the interference signals by introducing spectrum sensing , the most elementary function of cognitive radios, and cognitive networks.

SOLUTIONS
- Monitoring the wireless environment and deepening the community knowledge database for it.
- Identifying existing and potential control operations such as power control, and selecting channels or wireless technologies.
- Designing decision mechanisms to select which control operations to perform and when, in order to achieve optimal overall performance
