SUMMARY
NFC City is an open innovation project which seeks to promote the development and use of services for information exchange, access, ticketing and payment through new applications of mobile and near field communication (NFC) technologies.
The project will conduct studies of user, business, security and legal use cases – and develop solutions to elaborate the necessary operating environment for the new services. It will also contribute to standardisation and industry organisations.

Establishing a complete NFC ecosystem including network infrastructure, trusted service manager (TSM) functionality, NFC services and handsets

Exposing a critical mass of users to various services within a limited geographical area – a NFC city
