SUMMARY
The mobile computing project aims at discovering innovative solutions in a multiplicity of different areas such as mobile data management and pervasive computing.
Current sub projects are:
- Pervasive mobile applications
- Asynchronous Notification Services for Mobiles (ANSM)
- Sensor Data and Image Processing

SOLUTIONS
- Enhancing accelerometer technology in smart devices through real-time user-device interaction, thereby improving quality of service for the end-user
- Improving the quality of environmental data garnered by smart devices
- Adapting XMPP infrastructures to work under a comparable rate of service for delivering notifications to the smartphones, without suffering of message limitations, mobile platform restrictions or cloud provider constraints
