GANG: Networks, Graphs and Algorithms

_____________________________________________________________________

SUMMARY

The GANG project focuses on the design of algorithms for large scale networks, making use of the structural properties of the networks themselves. The project’s solutions can be applied to the development of optimized protocols for large dynamic networks such as mobile networks, for overlay web-networks such as peer-to-peer applications, and for the navigability of social networks. GANG makes use of recent advances in the field of graph algorithms, both in centralized and distributed settings, in its development process.
