SUMMARY
Future Ubiquitous Networks (FUN) aims to develop self-organisation solutions for future wireless sensor, actuator and RFID networks. These solutions will allow those kinds of networks to self-deploy, to discover, to communicate, to know when to sleep, when to transmit, etc. FUN seeks to validate their solutions heuristically through a process of experimentation and iteration.

SOLUTIONS

Developing a heterogeneous network architecture:
- Making wireless sensors, actuators and RFID networks work together and interact in a transparent and standard compliant way.

Designing a realistic network infrastructure through a heuristic process:
- Validating every solution through experimentation and learn from these latter to enhance them.
