SUMMARY
ESCAPE is a project which seeks to develop data mining techniques for use in analysing and exploiting finance data. The research involves the exploration of financial text news through Machine Learning and Text Mining techniques as well as the analysis of the incidents concerning the evolving sovereign debt crisis in Europe. The project makes use of Thomson Reuters finance data.
