Digital Services

SUMMARY

The virtualisation of services, the emergence of mobile internet access and the reduction of barriers to investment in service infrastructure and access terminals have all brought new opportunities to the ICT services sector. Finland is now in a position where it can define the direction of mobile services development in the future.

The TIVIT Digital Services Program is an ecosystem effort to pool services enablers and platforms so as to rapidly launch, horizontalize and ensure the maintenance of new services. Work is conducted in a true partnership model, where partners gain access to a pool of complementary platform and enabler assets and share executive power.

SOLUTIONS

  • Developing an ecosystem which will provide support for the development, scaling and visibility of new innovative services and enablers in four, high-potential thematic areas:
    1. SME Services
    2. Financial Services
    3. Educational Services
    4. Wellness Services
  • Giving Finland a leading edge position in the global market for mobile services through:
    • Building a leading service development ecosystem with a common language, a superior palette of common enablers, platforms and mutual trust.
    • Creating an ecosystem which supports several layers of economic activity in its value chain and which has a low barrier to entry for new players.
    • Developing ways of working which enable radically new service launches and scaling at speeds that cannot be matched.
    • Acquiring a first to market advantage, enabling sustainable cash flow streams from a billion new customers.
