SUMMARY
Smart metering can contribute to an efficient and improved use of energy. With continuous monitoring, energy users and producers can be handled more autonomously and intelligently.The objective of the CoPlaSM project is to realize a working proof of concept for a multi-standard communication platform for smart metering applications, and to validate the platform under the realistic and challenging conditions of an energy distribution network.
