SUMMARY
The proliferation of broadband services has created new demands on the broadband communication network. Broadband services need to be increasingly robust and to guarantee high levels of availability, confidentiality and privacy.
This project seeks to develop robust communication solutions which can guarantee secure access to public services. To this end, the project team will establish clear requirements for connection through creating a systems environment for home and personal networks. All developed solutions will be validated and verified on Acreo’s National testbed.

- Improving the functionality of Gateways for eHealth networks
- Designing a robust 3rd party Semantic Web for the OSGI platform
- Developing techniques for the secure authorization of users and equipment and Dual Homing between fixed and mobile networks
- Testing solutions on the Acreo National Testbed
