SUMMARY
Catalunya Connecta is a project of the government of Catalonia. The project aims to execute a deployment plan for the development of the government’s electronic communication services.
The plan has already enabled universal access to new telecommunications services to citizens, administrations and the Catalan business, providing coverage of digital terrestrial television services, mobile and broadband, al least in the villages of more than 50 people, and coverage of broadband and mobile telephony to all industrial estates in Catalonia. Ultimately, the project hopes to contribute to making Catalonia an advanced and competitive territory, where citizens, businesses and the Government are fully connected.

SOLUTIONS
- Building telecomms antennas to in rural areas to enhance the provision of ICT services and provide businesses with critical communication infrastructure
- Collaborating with local industry partners such as Ribalta and Sons Ltd to provide broadband access to various plants
