Coordinating European Future Internet Research

Contributions invited for ERA-NET+

One of ceFIMS first major deliverables is an interim roadmap towards a Future Internet ERA-NET+.

As a bridge towards this roadmap, ceFIMS has produced a discussion paper – initially based on the workshop report arising from the project’s ‘research council’ workshop in Budapest, in May, 2011. Some feedback has already been received on this discussion paper and the project is now widening its consultation process.

The discussion paper  describes potential areas for collaboration between Member States and between the EU and Member States, with respect to developing Europe’s Future Internet. A number of relevant themes, funding mechanisms and barriers are outlined in an attempt to stimulate and advance discussions.

ceFIMS now invites feedback and consultation on the discussion paper, with all comments and opinions feeding directly into the project’s roadmapping process.

All submissions should be sent to Kieran Sullivan ([email protected]), no later than 16th September.
