Projects & Initiatives
_________
Connect2Care
This project aims to provide a basis for an open technical infrastructure to support the development of secure, scalable ICT-based social and health services. This infrastructure will build upon and complement existing infrastructures, particularly the Health Data Network, the National Service Platform, and the National Programme for telemedicine and home monitoring.
_________
eData
This project aims to provide a foundation for e-Science by developing novel techniques that enable scientists to detect and correct anomalies in source data, in an on-line, interactive, lineage-preserving, and semi-automatic manner.
_________
iCareNet
iCareNet aims to make a decisive contribution towards solutions in the area of human-computer interaction and in the area of the social factors involved in the deployment of context-aware applications.
_________
MADALGO – Center for MAssive Data ALGOrithmics
MADALGO is a major research centre funded by The Danish National Research Foundation.
The primary goal of the centre to access and process the rapidly expanding amount of massive high-quality data on many diverse computing platforms.
_________
Massive Data Mining by Sampling (MaDaMS)
This project will explore the possibilities available in a new approach to massive data mining which has origins in advanced sampling methods of data stream algorithmics.
_________
SmartOSN – Smartphones Meet Online Social Networks
The SmartOSN project will investigate and solve arising challenges for social network applications on mobile network infrastructures.
_________
Smart Grid Ready Energy
This project will enable commercial greenhouses to become prosumers by developing the next generation of energy and cost efficient supplemental lighting systems that utilise the physiological flexibility of crops to provide balancing services in the Danish Smart Grid.
_________
SmartC2Net
The goal of SmartC2Net is to develop, implement, and validate robust solutions that enable smart grid operation on top of heterogeneous off-the-shelf communication infrastructures with varying properties.
_________
WallViz
The objective of the WallViz research project is to use develop wall-sized, interactive displays to improve decision making processes based on massive collections of data.
