KMD: National Data Storage
National Data Storage Project (NDS), is a national, government-funded research and development project (No R02 055 03) aiming at providing the scalable, cost-efficient, reliable and secure, distributed data storage system. The main planned application of the system is the country-wide backup archive service for educational institutions as well as national and local government and health-care institutions.

The domestic system – connected to the secretariat of the Council of the European Union, enabling the Polish experts, involved governmental institutions and stakeholders elaboration of the Polish positions for the EU working groups or committees.
