13th FIF meeting held on 25-26th March, 2015 as part of NetFutures 2015

The 13th meeting of the Future Internet Forum of Member States / Associated Countries (FIF) was held on 25-26th March, 2015 in Brussels, Belgium, co-located with “Net Futures 2015: born to scale” conference organized by European Commission.

The environs where the 2 day meeting occurred co-located with Net Futures 2015: born to scale was an opportunity to deepen the idea that Digital Single Market (DSM) is one of the priorities for a vibrant digital economy and society by complementing the telecommunications regulatory environment, modernising copyright rules, simplifying rules for consumers making online and digital purchases, enhancing cyber-security and mainstreaming digitalisation.

The 13th FIF meeting focused on H2020 activities, the closing results of the 5G-PPP call, measures increasing support and uptake of the FI-PPP in Member States / Associated Countries, and the results and successes of the FIWARE Accelerate program, which funds developers and entrepreneurs, and ignites the rolling-out of the ecosystem.
